Teaser Trailer Monday is what the Warner Bros. marketing brainstrust wants to call it, and it’s happening tomorrow at Midday PT/3pm ET. But what’s that in YOUR timezone, you ask?
Follow this link to work out when the trailer will debut in YOUR timezone.

Warner Bros. UK has also uploaded a higher resolution (up to 1080p) version of the pre-teaser to their Youtube channel. It reveals some nice detail. Check it out below, plus our screencaps at the bottom (if you’re avoiding spoiler discussions, you might want to skip the screencaps). Warner Bros. behind-the-scenes efforts mark this as more than merely another panel — despite the fact it’s sharing a slot with Mad Max Fury: Road, Jupiter Ascending and Batman vs Superman.
The enormous, multi-scened wraparound panaorama that muralises the walls of Hall H declares the pre-eminence of The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies in the pecking order.
It’s the panel of the day. Continue reading “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in Hall H: the details and the spoilers!”

Many thanks to Ringer Piet for bringing this video of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Panel to our attention. Before you get your hopes too high, the teaser trailer has been excised from the video, so it only shows the Panel, but it’s still worth watching for that. Meanwhile we’ll all keep hoping they’ll release the trailer online soon.

We had heard that Hall H had been turned into a massive surround screen for The Hobbit, but now we understand precisely what people mean!
Even better, Warner Bros. used the panoramic montages that they created for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Why? Because they also revealed the panoramic scroll for The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies and we can get a bit of a taste for six key scenes of the final film!
Just a warning, because these are screencaps from phone vid (see the Screenscrush video at the bottom), the sharpness is not the best. We’re certain that Warner Bros. will debut the real thing in a few days so if you’re after quality you might want to skip this for now.
