New Zealand website scene.co.nz reports that Peter Jackson’s Gulfstream private jet was spotted in Queenstown yesterday. The report states that post touchdown, a 15-person entourage headed out for a hanger at local chopper company Heliworks.
An eye-witness also states that:
“There were about 13 to 15 of them and they had a huge amount of gear and they all took off in choppers.”

Access Hollywood caught up with Elijah Wood in LA and spoke with him about his upcoming trip to New Zealand to reprise his role of Frodo Baggins in The Hobbit.

This week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Snowblind Studios traveled to the Electronic Entertainment Expo, revealing new areas and features of the 2011 game, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Today, a new cut of the trailer “Heroes will Rise” – featuring the just unveiled character of Beleram, the great eagle, is released specifically for The Council, the game’s community.
The great eagles have traveled with the Fellowship before, lending their keen eye and stamina in support of the three, the human, elf and dwarf. As the party arrives at the ruins of Fornost, Beleram, the noblest of these creatures, breaks from chains to join the Fellowship, becoming its fourth member. Destroying structures, providing an aerial advantage, and employing his instinctual combat prowess to tear apart those who threaten the fellowship, Beleram accompanies our heroes in their campaign to overthrow Agandaur, Sauron’s Chief Lieutenant in the North.
