This Premium Format is going to be an outstanding addition to our Middle-earth collections with a fantastic likeness to Sir Christopher Lee in his role as Saruman the White. Fans will be able to Pre-Order this Premium Format this thursday in Sideshow’s weekly newsletter for a solid price of $399.99. If you’re into the exclusive options as I am,  this collectible comes with switchable hands. One of these will have him holding the Palantir, which appears to light up and another with his hand stretched out. As soon as it goes up for order on Thursday we will let you know. If you’ve ever watched Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 cult animation of The Lord of the Rings, you’ll undoubtedly vividly recall the scene of the confrontation between Gandalf and the Balrog in Moria.

The lion-headed creature with the body of an ape, butterfly wings plus a whip and flaming sword remains one of the classic renditions of Tolkien’s monster — whether for better or worse is up to you.
