These awesome collectibles from FilmCells give you the chance to add genuine film cells from the movie to your collection, with several great designs, including bookmarks. (It may seem like an odd thing to have film cells from a movie which was shot digitally, but FilmCells’ website confirms that the cells are authentic ‘real film from the movie’.) Yesterday another Hobbit poster hit the internet, and it contains some great character images! These dwarves we’ve seen before – though it’s nice to see them in active pose. But who is that top left? It’s none other than goblin Bolg, as confirmed by the Bridge Direct action figure.
Not listed in Bridge Direct’s recent release list, but included in Vivid’s list for release in Europe, is also a ‘Yazneg’ goblin figure, but for now there’s no Azog. Of course we’ve also seen Grinnah and Fimbul the Hunter with his warg; but those fellas seem to be Misty Mountain goblins, connected to the Goblin King, whereas Bolg and Yazneg are connected to the earlier Goblin Wars (with Bolg being the son of Azog, and Yazneg a character created for the movies). So what does this tell us about what we can expect to see in the first film of these goblins and their battles with the dwarves? Do these toy releases mean we won’t have to wait until the second (or even third) movie to learn more about the Goblin Wars? Why don’t you join us in our message board forums to speculate?
Thanks to our friends at Tolkiendrim.com for the heads up on these European toy releases – see the full list over at their website.

“If you had dusted the mantelpiece you would have found this just under the clock,” said Gandalf, handing Bilbo a note (written, of course, on his own note- paper).
Bilbo Baggins, like many hobbits, wanted to live a quiet life and go about his business doing whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Well, that all changed in The Hobbit! The next prop replica from The Noble Collection is the Bilbo Baggin’s Deed of Contract. This replica, 10.75″ (27.3cm) closed, and an amazing 60″ (152.4cm) when opened, is intricately detailed and a steal at $39 SRP. The contract will be on The Noble Collection website early next week and ready to ship by October 15th! Stay tuned to TORn for more details as they come in! Tolkien collectors are bursting at the seams this week as licensees can finally reveal their ‘Hobbit‘ collections! To that end, we are pleased to announce that The Noble Collection has the rights to make collectibles from ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.’ As they are long time supporters and friends of TheOneRing.net, we are very excited to see just what the future holds from the masters at The Noble Collection. So without further delay, here’s the first reveal of the week…the Orcrist Sword Replica! This sword, nicknamed ‘Biter’ by the Goblins, was found by Thorin and company as they rested in the trolls cave, and would prove to be very helpful over the events of the Hobbit. Orcrist is recreated in stunning detail from the models used for the film. Collectors will be able to Pre-Order this replica next week and shipping will commence December 10th. Stay tuned to TheOneRing.net for further announcements from The Noble Collection! [The Noble Collection] (Check out the higher res images below!)

“Also,” went on Gandalf, “I forgot to mention that with the map went a key, a small and curious key. Here it is!” he said, and handed to Thorin a key with a long barrel and intricate wards, made of silver. “Keep it safe!”
The next item to debut from The Noble Collection is the Map and Key of Thorin Oakenshield. As is quite clear by the name, this intricately detailed collectible features two of the most important props from the films, second only to The One Ring itself. As you can see by the images, Thorin’s Map and Key of Erebor are set against a black plaque, making it easy to mount on your office/home wall. The SRP for this amazing setup is only $79 and will be on The Noble Collection website early next week, with shipping starting in early December.
