This amazing piece is one I have been looking forward to arriving, it captures the stunning detail of the Front Gate of Erebor. This fantastic piece has all the little details that we saw in the front gate with those two awesome Dwarven statues. WETA Digital has released a new video on their YouTube channel, showcasing the multitude of visual effects work done on the second chapter in Sir Peter Jackson’s Hobbit Trilogy – The Desolation of Smaug.

Yet more information on all those different versions of the Blu-ray and DVD of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! Various versions are available for pre-order in the US; Target has the Limited Collector’s Edition (with the Noble Collection bookends) and the set of Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet with LEGO Legolas figure listed as available for pre-order online. (They will also be selling the 3D Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet pack, the regular 2 disc DVD and the regular Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet combo pack in stores.)
