You may recall a week or so ago, Empire Magazine teased a low-resolution image of Bilbo wrapped in blankets in Lake-town. Now, courtesy of our German friends at Herr-de-ringe-film.de we have this rather fine high-resolution version for your viewing pleasure! (Word of warning, this is a largish (approx 5mb) file that is 4896 x 3264 pixels. So it may take a little while to load on slower connections.)

Martin FreemanThe Hollywood Reporter has announced that ‘Hobbit’/’Sherlock’ star Martin Freeman has been cast in the FX network adaptation of the Coen brothers film ‘Fargo’.  Martin will star as Lester Nygaard, the character portrayed by William H. Macy in the film version.  The article describes Lester as “… an insurance salesman who has seen better days. Henpecked by his wife, his life is changed forever when a mysterious stranger comes to town.”

Production on the 10-part miniseries, which also stars Billy Bob Thornton, is set to begin this October in Canada, with a Spring 2014 release.
