The Fellowship Festival is set to be this years convention-not-to-miss. With an amazing lineup including Bernard Hill, John Noble, John Howe and Alan Lee as well as many of the Kiwi actors we all love so much this will be a weekend not to miss. Andria writes: I had the pleasure of listening to (I was too far away to see) Sean Astin give a political speech at a rally for John Kerry today in St. Louis. He referenced being Samwise Gamgee from LOTR which got a loud cheer from the crowd. Of the the people that spoke at the rally (pre-Kerry and Edwards) Astin delivered the most articulate and heart-felt speech of the group. I was thrilled. Crimdac writes: In an interview on BBC radio in the UK with British Olympic archer Alison Williamson. Among other things she gives credit to the LOTR films for getting lots of boys interested in archery because they want to be Legolas.
