Claire writes: Figwit will be at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August. Bret McIntyre is half of the comedy duo ‘Flight of the Conchords’, with Jemaine Clement. Last year they were shortlisted for the very prestigious Perrier award for comedy acts at Edinburgh, and this year they’re back with a new show. ‘The Guardian’ newspaper rates it one of the ’50 Best Things to do at the Edinburgh Festival’ – and that’s the whole of the entire arts festival, with thousands of acts, not just the comedy part!
