Constance reminded us that the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performance of FOTR this weekend has been cancelled. This has been known for a while, however just in case fans were unaware, there is a press release below. For more information contact the NJPAC at 1-888-466-5722.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, NJPAC regrets to announce the cancellation of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, which was to run at NJPAC June 17-19. An NJPAC Customer Service Representative will be in contact with each ticket holder with further information. For any questions, please contact NJPAC at 1-888-466-5722.

Actor Sean Bean, who played Boromir in LOTR, was apparently in a bar brawl where he was stabbed with a piece of glass! True to his rugged characters, there were no major injuries and Sean seemingly continued to have a pint! Thanks to Ringer Irfon for the heads up:

He became known to millions as the rugged, hero soldier in historical drama Sharpe.

And now actor Sean Bean has proven once and for all that his tough-guy image is not just fictional.

The Daily Mail has learned that Bean was ‘stabbed’ in the arm following a row over a beautiful young model.

We’re just a day away! Tomorrow The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition will be in theaters nationwide. If you have not already picked up tickets, make sure you do so ASAP. [Buy Tickets] My local theater sold out as of last Thursday, but hopefully there are still some seats at your theater.

Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time as rumor has it there will be some great LOTR themed content, a special message from Peter Jackson from The Hobbit set, and you might just see something completely unexpected!
