Yet another fun, and interesting, thing for Hobbit fans to collect – this just in from the New Zealand Post: New Zealand Post is set to produce stamps and commemorative coins featuring some of the unique characters of Middle-earth later in the year. In an agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Pictures, and the filmmakers, New Zealand Post also has exclusive rights to produce legal tender commemorative coins that celebrate Sir Peter Jackson’s trilogy of films based on The Hobbit, productions of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. New Zealand Post has revealed one of the stamps to give fans a sneak peek at what they can expect in November. The CBS “Sunday Morning” variety news show had a nice interview with Elijah Wood this weekend. It included a short retrospective of  much of his entire career from his debut with a small part in “Back to the Future II” (remember that?) to his current role in the TV series “Wilfred.” They also touched quite a bit on his role as Frodo in “The Lord of the Rings” and in the upcoming Hobbit movies; oh, and his love of music and food! G-i-P tells us that the runes are in the mode Angerthas Moria, and read: Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu! ‘Axes of the Dwarves! The Dwarves are upon you’ (Baruk Khazâd – right hand, Khazâd ai-mênu – left hand). Highlight to read the hidden text!

More Hobbit-y goodness for all! This time it’s superb portraits of the 13 members of the Company. I tell you, I am starting to get a feeling that James Nesbitt’s Bofur will be a bit of a scene stealer.

The only ones missing (at the moment) are Bilbo and Thorin Oakenshield.

The great news for fans is that there are no plot spoilers here (unless you count costumes). So dip right into the full gallery below!
