I’ve had a chance to personally look at one and it’s one of the coolest coloring books I’ve ever seen. As we’ve mentioned before, Asmus Toys is doing 1:6 figures from both The Lord of the Rings as well as The Hobbit. Our friends at Sideshow Collectibles are helping fans get both Aragorn and Tauriel by distributing them to collectors. Both figures come with loads of items allowing you to create whatever poses you want. Plus, if you order Aragorn you get a special base with an Amon Hen theme. You can snag Aragorn for $199, and he is due to ship between September and December of this year. Tauriel will be shipping to collectors a little sooner, with a shipping scheduled for September or October of this year.

We’ve completed another Comic-Con and once again our friends at Weta Workshop did not disappoint. There are new pieces from both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, thus letting fans add to the amazing work from Weta many of us already have. From The Lord of the Rings comes one of the coolest looking orcs in the Uruk-hai Swordsman piece, another great environment in Minas Tirith, and the mini line adds Frodo Baggins. The Uruk-hai and Minas Tirith are due to ship during quarter four of this year while Frodo is due in quarter three.

Our friend and amazing artist Jerry Vanderstelt who as you all know has created so many superb pieces of Middle-earth will be starting a new line of prints capturing this world.
Fans will soon be able to start purchasing prints of the many landscapes we’ve seen in Peter Jackson’s films. The first print pending licensor approval will be capturing the beautiful place we all know as Rivendell. This is such a beautiful piece and looking at this picture you really do feel like you’re about to get an up close look at Rivendell. As soon as this goes up for sale in Jerry’s store we will let you know.
