Just a week or so back Graham McTavish (Dwalin), William Kircher (Bifur), Dean O’Gorman (Fili), and Peter Hambleton (Gloin) went on Canadian breakfast telly to talk about their experiences on the set of The Hobbit in the lead-up to their appearance at the C4 Central Canada Comic Con over the weekend.

It’s a fun interview — made all-the-more amusing by the presenter mixing up who is which character right at the start. Have a watch and see if you pick it up right away. Continue reading “Four of The Hobbits’ dwarves go on Canadian breakfast telly”

The-Hobbit-The-Battle-Of-The-Five-Armies USA Today has the following interesting little story that provides more teasing hints of what’s coming in the Battle of the Five Armies. No real spoilers, but there are three new pictures that I don’t think we’ve seen before.

Peter-Jackson-Doctor-Who UPDATE: a little earlier we reported news from a previously reliable source about the length of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

The final trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (which, incidentally, is the very last trailer of Peter Jackson’s series of Middle-earth films) may not be scheduled to drop until November 6 but we already have a tiny something that we can reveal about what we’ll see.

It’s been hinted already that we would see a “familiar face” in the trailer, now fansite Tolkien Italia has revealed the identity of this individual. If you don’t want to know (why are you here?), best go watch the BOTFA teaser trailer or something.
