So every so often I get asked whether I would entertain reviewing one of the old Sideshow/Weta pieces. So, I decided to go ahead and review one, which turned out to be quite a bit of fun. I decided to take a look-back at the Theoden statue, one of my favorites from the original line. Theoden came out in 2003 and has an edition size of 2000 pieces. During that time you cold get Theoden brand new for $125. Obviously this piece is sold out now, but you can track him down on eBay. Watch my review now for loads of information on this classic piece.

Out latest review covers not one but two statues from out friend at Weta Workshop. The two statues we will be looking at come from The Hobbit Trilogy and specifically The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. During the final sequences of the film, we get to see some Elves and Dwarves joining forces. To depict this, Weta made individual statues covering a single Mirkwood Elf as well as a pair of Iron Hills Dwarves– but the two statues come with a twist. You can switch out the shoulder armor of one of the Dwarves and combine them to make one massive statue. You can also get both statues individually for $449 with an edition size of 750.
If you were lucky enough to attend opening day at the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle, Washington today, you may have had the opportunity to get an up-close look at the next awesome statue from our friends at Weta Workshop in their The Lord of The Rings statue line. Adding to the amazing scene set-up with the Boromir and Lurtz statues, we now have Aragorn at Amon Hen. In this piece, we get to see Aragorn as he races back to help save Boromir who has blown The Horn of Gondor in desperation as he defends Merry and Pippin from attack by Saruman’s Uruk-hai Orcs. Fans can sign up to be notified when this beautiful statue goes up for order, and as soon as it does you can count on us to let you know.
Our friends at Weta workshop have two fantastic new items for fans who are looking to expand their Middle-earth collections. Our first item allows fans who are missing one of the original The Lord of the Rings statue line greatest pieces The Ringwraith on Steed. This piece is long sold out and hard to track down. So it was a wonderful surprise back during the holiday season they showed off the beautiful Ringwraith at the Ford statue. This superb piece is a companion piece to go with the Arwen and Frodo on Asfaloth, which was announced and shown off during Comic-Con 2018. Like Arwen and Frodo this Ringwraith comes in with an edition size of 750 pieces and a price tag of $699. Fans also have the payment plan option open to them, which will hopefully allow them to add a statue of the year for 2019 candidate into their collections.
Are you a fan of the Mini-Epic line? Then you’re going to love the latest edition to this set of collectibles. You may not simply be able to walk into Mordor but you can once he ships simply walk this one into your collection. That’s right Boromir Son of Denethor is the newest character to get the Mini-Epic treatment. Boromir isn’t due to ship until this summer but he can be had for a fantastic $29.

Our friends from Weta Workshop have delivered another hit, and another item that has been years in the making. Before Comic-Con this year, fans finally got a chance to order a character from Rohan, riding a horse; not just a random solider, but Eomer. Eomer had only been done as a bust in the original SSW line when the films were out, and fans have since been craving a proper statue. This statue lives up to the internal hype we’ve all been feeling since The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Lucky fans can still order Eomer on Firefoot and then come chat with us about it in the TORn Collectors Club.
