Our friends at United Cutlery have just released their latest prop replica from The Hobbit Trilogy.

The latest newsletter from our friends at Weta Workshop has been released, included in it is their first environment piece from The Hobbit Trilogy. This amazing piece is one I have been looking forward to arriving, it captures the stunning detail of the Front Gate of Erebor. This fantastic piece has all the little details that we saw in the front gate with those two awesome Dwarven statues. You can pre-order this piece right now for a solid price of $199 with it arriving in your collection sometime between April and May.
Also in the latest newsletter is an item I believe Ringers who like to cosplay or fans of Legolas in general will love. You can add an exact replica of the vambrace that Legolas wears during The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Each vambrace is made of high quality leather and is ready to ship shortly after ordering. Tonight, via their Facebook page, Gentle Giant have released details of the next bust in their The Hobbit Trilogy bust line and the first one from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The next character being created is none other than Legolas Greenleaf wearing his very cool Elven Armor. That’s not all, we get to see Legolas holding the severed Orc head from the interrogation scene after Thranduil separated the head from the Orc body. Legolas is up for Pre-Order right now for $75 with an estimated shipping date of the fourth quarter of this year.
Last night via his Facebook page artist Jerry Vanderstelt teased us with a great image of his upcoming print for Tauriel. Well, tonight this amazing print has gone up for sale! This print perfectly captures Evangeline Lilly as she played the character and the fierceness that the character has. You can get this fantastic print in 18×24 Paper Giclee for $75 and Canvas Giclee for $145. However, Jerry is offering a brand new size especially for this piece in 16×20 Paper Giclee for ONLY $35. Here we are a year later following the fantastic film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The waiting is over and the time to immerse ourselves in another movie about Middle-earth has begun. I, like so many of you have been counting down the days until it was time, and after seeing it twice I’ve written my personal review.

One of the most beautiful pieces at Comic-Con 2013 came to us from our friends at Weta Workshop. This statue is a real eye catcher with a great likeness, amazing detail, and a fantastic mix of grace/power. The character that Weta created that mixes all of these together is the King of the Mirkwood Elves Thranduil. This was also a special release granted by Warner Brothers so fans could see the character and start getting pumped for the awesomeness that is to come in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
