This week our friends at Weta Workshop released a fantastic looking new statue from their awesome mini-statue line. This time fans can add Gandalf the Grey on Gwaihir as he escapes being trapped by former friend Saruman the White. This beautiful statue does a very good job of capturing the tiniest of details between Gandalf and Gwaihir. Fans can add this piece right now to their collection for only $125, and with it being in-stock there will be little to no wait time.

At Comic-Con 2017, our friends at Weta Workshop unveiled one of the most stunning pieces I’ve ever seen. The piece is part of the new Masters Collection, and the character is one we all know quite well: Gollum. This superb piece is a 1:3 mixed media piece with real hair, glass, eyes, translucent skin, clear resin water, and an actual cloth loin cloth. Needless to say this is the best Gollum piece that’s been done. Gollum is limited to only 589 pieces worldwide and comes with a price tag of $1799. Fans that are interested can also use Weta’s handy flex pay system that will help you break this down so you can add this amazing statue into your collections.

Our friends at Weta Workshop have another fantastic piece launching for pre-order.
This new statue comes from The Hobbit Trilogy and covers the really cool Dol Guldur sequence. Fans have a chance to add another one of those awesome Ringwraith designs we saw during The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
The Ringwraith getting the full 1:6th treatment is the Ringwraith of Forod, which fans had a chance to add via the 1:30 scale line for the Dol Guldur sequence. This piece is limited to only 500 pieces worldwide and comes with a price tag of $499.
Fans can use the new payment plan system to make it easier so you don’t miss this limited edition collectible.
We here at TORn have teamed up with our friends at Weta Workshop for a special review of the 1:30 scale Dol Guldur Environment set with figures. This set made its debut during Comic-Con 2016 and since then each piece has come up for order. This entire setup is really awesome! There is so much incredible detail in every piece that makes up this entire sequence. Also, if you have space issues it allows you to add some quality Weta Workshop made pieces, and still have room for the next amazing sequence to come from this line.
One of my favorite things about this set, which covers the Dol Guldur sequence from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is that you can create your own battles. You’re not limited by what was decided before you got it, and that gives you so much room to have fun with this set. Ranging from $50 for the figures to $250 for the largest environment piece fans have plenty of wiggle room to create whatever display they’d like. All of the figures Galadriel/Gandalf, Elrond, Witch-king, and Ringwraith of Forod are open editions. Fans will want to make sure to get not wait on any of the environment pieces North Courtyard, South Courtyard, Colonnade, Palantir Courtyard are limited to 500 pieces.

Our friends at Weta Workshop have two new awesome pieces for us tonight and both come from the Dol Guldur sequence of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The first piece is The Torturer of Dol Guldur who Galadriel easily dispatches when she comes to help save Gandalf the Grey. This piece is freaking awesome! You can see lots of great detail, paint, and it just looks nasty. Fans are not going to want to wait too long to get this Orc as he has an edition size of only 500 pieces. He comes in with a price tag of $449 but you have time to save as he doesn’t ship until January of 2018.
The final piece of the awesome 1:30 Dol Guldur environment is now available to order. The Colonnade is easily the largest piece of this set and gives fans even more options to create this sequence, or their own personal sequence. The final piece of this mini-environment comes in with a price tag of $249 but there are payment plans to make getting this even easier.
