For those of you coming to Hollywood for this party, especially those of you from outside the Southern California area, you already know you need a hotel. But I’d like to make sure all you locals are able to take advantage of these great deals we have with these hotels. After all, with the closure of all the streets surrounding the newly dubbed Dolby Theater at the Hollywood and Highland Complex, you won’t have to worry about being late to the party when you are staying at one of the neighboring hotels.

A few have already closed the books on our group block, and a few will remain open for another two weeks, but all the details can be found on that page. Only 40 days remain until hundreds of Tolkien fans journey to Hollywood and celebrate the words and works of J.R.R. Tolkien at ‘The One Expected Party!’ On Hollywood’s most magical night, we will happily host a great feast to celebrate not only the three Oscar nominations for ‘The Hobbit: AUJ,’ but also the entirety of Tolkien fandom. Wherever you are in the world, come online and watch our Live Video channel for a special Tolkien birthday edition of TORn After Dark: join the Los Angeles smial of the Tolkien Forever group holding our Tolkien Birthday Toast event at the famous Cat & Fiddle Pub (where they shot scenes from Casablanca).
