Celebriel wrote to tell us about The Tolkien Friendship Society’s March 25 Gondorian New Years Celebration. The group of about 15 regulars is based in Northern California and meets monthly for dinner, costuming, conversation, and contests. Recent event themes have included a Dol Amroth banquet, an Oxford Tea, Tolkien’s Lovers (for Valentine’s Day), and a pub night.
