Here comes a bit of news to make you forget about lunch. Rumor has been circulating online that singer/songwriter goddess Alanis Morisette will be doing a song for LOTR. Now that’s fine in itself, but the REAL odd bit is that she’s rumored to be doing it with former ‘Guns ‘n’ Roses’ frontman Axl Rose?
Take this rumor with an entire SALT FACTORY folks, but I’ll be looking into it anyway. No matter how odd it is…

Here’s a peak at the movie tie-in cover for the new editions of The Lord of the Rings, coming from Houghton Mifflin, in hardcover and trade paperback. Publication date is June 2, 2001, but look for them in stores a few weeks earlier.
