The battle in the ruins of Dale

It is highly likely that these images belong to the Battle of the Five Armies as Bard is seen with his new wardrobe still wielding the sword of his ancestor Girion, and in general the sensation is given that the Men are more organized.

In the second image, Jackson tells McKellen that in this battle, “The tone of this fight is, you know, fighting to the last men, it’s not victory…”

Bilbo’s emotional moments

In the first image with two monitors we see a scene in which Gandalf approaches Bilbo who appears to be in a state of shock. It’s probably after the battle — Bilbo has chainmail. In the second we see Bilbo with blood on his face, crying.

Various images that don’t seem to fit

There are some images which do not appear to fit in with the others, generally just images from filming. In the first two, we see Armitage filming a scene while Jackson observes without missing a detail.

Jackson is seen hugging McKellen in an emotional moment with Freeman smiling. Could this be McKellen’s last day shooting? The last image is another somewhat blurry sketch of the battle. Perhaps it is the effect of the Ring, with Bilbo putting the ring on at some moment during the battle?
