Monsters of the night!

by D. McG

Beware my twilight born children
Of these creatures who give you a fright
Tall and fierce with eyes of fire
These monsters of the night!

They gather there, beneath the stars
And howl to the morning light.
Then seek us out in hunting packs
These monsters of the night!

Their blades are sharp and hungry
They feast on our dark blood so bright
But their time in this land is over
These monsters of the night!

Clad in their silver hewn armour
Dressed in their helms that can bite
Protected by rivers and forests
These monsters of the night!

So beware my dark little Orclings
If you go into the woods at night
The Elves are out to destroy you.
These monsters of the night !
