L writes: I would like to alert you about the imminent “Perceval Press” publication of a non-fiction tome, name of “Skip.” Viggo Mortensen and actor David Newsom have spent several months collaborating on this truly magnificent book, the visual and narrative catalogue of Newsom’s mentally handicapped brother, Skip. Via spectacular images and lyrical prose, Skip’s daily interface with his Idaho environ is shown with innocence, wonder, and respect. It’s a loving portrait, as they say, with an assured and powerful message for *all*. This is David Newsom’s first published work. I’m told the item will become available the first week of December.
