I have long been struck by the passage in ROTK describing the banner crafted by Arwen, which sparked a life-long interest in embroidery and decorative arts. Ian McKellen’s webmaster writes: When Ian passed through Los Angeles last week on his way to Sydney (where Dance of Death is opening next week) he left behind a folder with a stack of loose sheets which turned out to be the scripts he used when recording voiceoves and dialogue for RoTK. I was surprised to see many pencilled notations showing how they had continued to refine the script right up to the last minute. UPDATE: PJ has asked us to kindly remove this link. Sorry folks!
