Starting on Feb. 20, the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre will present a play adaptation of “The Hobbit” for one week.
“The Hobbit” is a youth theatre production adaptation of the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien.
“[The Hobbit] is a timeless story of an unlikely hero,” said Nicki Poer, the director of “The Hobbit.” “It’s a good message for all ages.”
“The Hobbit” is the classic Tolkien tale of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit that lives in the fantasy world of Middle Earth.
Baggins gets thrown into an unexpected journey to fight ghoulish creatures and save Middle Earth.
