Is Peter Jackson bringing his earliest movies to blu-ray next year?

ANDREW GORRIE/The Dominion Post This is a really nice short bio interview about Peter Jackson from CBS reporter John Blackstone. I don’t think there’s anything startling or new, except this one very interesting comment that TORn staffer Magpie noted that Jackson made in the context of discussing his early movies, and particularly Bad Taste. And it’s one that I hadn’t heard previously either, which makes me wonder if it’s the first time Jackson has floated this thought.

Hopefully this next year I’ll revisit my old movies and really just polish them up and release them on blu-ray. So I’m actually going to go back to that world again.

That might mean a blu-ray release for some of his early horror and horror-comedy efforts, Bad Taste, Braindead and maybe even Meet the Feebles. Cool.
