The sharp eyes of our readers and discussion board members caught “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” on the trailer ratings published today on the website: Alberta Culture. According to that site, Hobbit trailer #3 will be rated PG and will be two minutes and twenty-five seconds in length. To refresh everyone’s memory, the first trailer was 2:32 and rated PG, while the second trailer was a shorter 1:56 and rated G (smoking, etc. cut for running in front of children’s films). While we don’t have anything concrete, the rumor is still that trailer #3 will be attached to movies that open the weekend of September 21-23 which, of course, includes the 75th anniversary of the publishing of The Hobbit (September 21, 1937) and World Hobbit Day (Bilbo and Frodo’s birthday) on September 22. No word on which movies it might be attached to yet, but we’ll let you know the very second we know.
