I’m from the UK and Martin has been on our screens for the last 10 years. And he can easy carry this film, is a very good actor that needed something like the Hobbit to showcase his potential.

He will be fantastic, I’m sure!

Calling Martin Freeman a “newcomer” is insulting…check his credits on IMDB…he’s got a long list and he’s barely 40. No, he’s not well known in the U.S. (though he has a lot of fans here), but he’s well known in Britian. I have know doubt that he’ll be just stunning as Bilbo…I can’t wait for the premier.

Martin Freeman will rock the big screen as Bilbo!
