Peter Jackson meeting with ‘Hobbit’ actors

July 13, 2010 at 7:52 pm by xoanon  -

“The Hobbit” still has not been officially greenlighted, but director Peter Jackson is in Los Angeles this week quietly meeting with actors. The casting trip, which also included stops in New York and the U.K., underscores the progress being made on a complex series of deals to bring J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic fantasy novel to the big screen.

Has anyone seen 1066: the battle for Mddle Earth. Its a fantastic Epic telling the story of the Saxons Great battle at Hastings from the orc army of the Normans lead by William the bastard aka the conquerer. Its fantastic. This particular account of the battle is through the eyes of the brave ordinary men who tried in vain to save their country from the vicious onslought. Alot of things from this true event in history went into the writings of J R R Tolkiens The Lord of the Rings…i.e middle earth..orcs..beserkers etc Worth a watch…i hope someone involved with the casting of The Hobbit takes note of a certain danish actor called Soren Byder…he was outstanding in it and would be a fantastic choice to play any number of roles in the upcoming film. Really really good! Anyway, check the movie out, released in 2009 and narrated by Bilbo Baggins himself…Ian Holmes!! Marc- Isle of wight, England.
