PippinSparrow writes: Since some time late last year, the Finnish bank Sampo has been issuing LotR-themed Visa Electron cards. I don’t know the exact time when the LotR card was first released, but I suspect it might have been around Oct-Nov or so. They’re saying that the LotR card will only be available for a limited amount of time, but as of right now you can still get them. [More]
Sianna writes: Here’s something of interest from one of my favorite magazines – National Geographic! The British Royal Mint is offering a set of over 40 LOTR coins. Offerings feature depictions of the characters, and a silver coin with a gold One Ring on the face. They are said to be authentic currency in NZ. [More]
