Here’s your Invitation to a Golden Globes viewing party to cheer for LOTR:FOTR, which is nominated in four categories.

Get together with fellow Los Angeles area fans of Tolkien and the Lord of the Ring’s film to watch the show.

When: Sunday, January 20

Time: 7pm arrival, 8pm telecast begins, 11pm telecast ends, continue celebrating as long as you want after the show.

Where: Cat n’ Fiddle Pub, 6530 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, (323)468-3800, Casa Blanca room.

Prizes: There will be a raffle for one large prize, as well as Sideshow/Weta statues. Other prizes, such as official movie posters, will be either included in the raffle or will be won through trivia contests and other games. Jessica writes: The E! Channel with be rebroadcasting it’s “Behind The Scenes: The Lord of the Rings” special January 18th! Although, viewers will need to check their local listings to see at what time of day it will be airing in their time zone.

Bungo writes: FOTR will finally open in Hong Kong on Jan. 31. There was a full page article with photos in the South China Sunday Morning Post, and there have been Chinese articles in the Hong Kong magazines that sound like rave reviews. So the build-up finally begins here.
