“From October 14-20 is supposedly ‘Teen Reading Week.’ Our High School suddenly popped up with all these posters, showing the theme of ‘Make Reading a Hobbit’ The posters had both Elijah Wood and Liv Tyler reading in their full get-ups. Fellow Ringers and myself all over our school went nuts, grabbing all the bookmarks and buttons we could get our hands on, though the ‘Make it a Hobbit’ theme is kinda cheesy. Maybe we can debunk that persistent ‘Dec. 14’ rumour, with help from Distant Angel: “Our local Warner Village has got the latest FOTR poster up and it has the release date as December 19th (which I think is the first time we’ve got the UK release date in black and white).”
German Lord of the Rings shop site Elbenwald seem to have gotten their hands on the cover of the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack, which will be available from November 20th. Instead of a collage, it just features a still from the movie of all four hobbits on Weathertop. [More]
