I attempted to watch Charlie Rose last night and Henry Kissinger was on, not Ian McKellen.

Now I’m even more upset that I don’t get this show anymore, I love Kissinger. Ah well, I’m assuming all other guests were pre-empted due to the recent events.

My wife and I were visiting relatives in St. Paul, MN when we stumbled across this establishment. We wondered if they cater exclusively to Shire-folk, or if they offer special package vacations to Middle-Earth: The ever-popular Two Tower Tour; white-water rafting down the Anduin; exploring Moria with animatronic Orc attacks (Gandalf battles the Balrog at ten and two daily!), and the Dark Lord for a Day option! Sounds good to us!!

Forbes Celebrity 100 has a site called “Earnings From The Crypt”. Professor Tolkien is at #8 of the top eighteen, beating out Frank Sinatra and Jerry Garcia but not Andy Warhol. Marilyn Monroe is way down there. Will be interesting to see what the next couple of years do to his earnings, heh?

Well… I don’t think his estate will make any money, but you may want to buddy up next to Saul Zaentz 🙂
