TheOneRing.net has uncovered some footage (RealPlayer) from what looks like the internet preview, but this time there seems to be new shots or Aragorn, Arwen, and most surprising of all GOLLUM?!
While we at TORN have our doubts about the validity of these news shots in the preview (I once added myself into scenes from The Hunt for Red October), you can be the judge for yourself and take a look right here! [More]
!!!Spoilers!!!

Ask and you shall recieve! Ringer fan Elestivine sent us this passed onreport of the Footage shown at Toy Fair 2001:
“Scenes in trailer didn’t include dialogue, but the regular ol’ orchestra music and war cries, etc. In trailer were orcs, trolls, and (yes!) Gollum- being described as having huge eyes, green skin and dressed in rags. Also was a battle between Gandalf and Saruman, including telekeneesis (pardon mispelling) light flashes, and one of the two being slammed against the wall.
Also was a lot of army a battle scenes-including one which seemed to be at Helm’s Deep- and almost all were very bloody. The scene we’ve already saw with Arwen being chased by Ringwraiths was in there again, and there was a new clip of Legolas knocking down some board, then sliding down it and shooting arrows at the same time (cool!). That’s about all I can remember but do note there were many war scenes.“
Wow, sounds really cool! New Line, let the fans see too!!!

Thanks to Barlimans regulars Gollum and SamGamgee from elfenomeno.com for providing a link to what looks to be an early version of the official internet preview. Follow the following link and click on the LOTR Trailer at the bottom of the page. [More]
After just viewing this low quality real video file a few times, this is what we have have noticed is different:
1. Gollum with skin – The second and a half of Gollum matches up with earlier pictures we have seen, but this time with skin and hair. We are not posting a still image of Gollum at this time because of a promise to the artists at WETA. You can see Gollum in the Real version though.
2. Aragorn Fighting the Nazgul – We have seen a similar scene with this image from the scrapbook. [842]

3. A new shot of Liv.
4. An extended shot of the running Troll.
Where this version came from, its anyone’s guess. We are also NOT sure if this is even legit. Hopefully we’ll be getting more info about it shortly!

Ringer fan Krosshair sends us a one page scan from the Feb 12th of Advertising Age Magazine. [More]
The article talks about the marketing strategy for the movies, but also has this little gem:
“New Line hopes the video release in summer 2002 will also appeal to the 4 to 7 year-old demographic.“
We have heard this before as a rumor, but it seems we have some confirmation with this casual mention. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t even seen the movie and I’m already drooling over owning the DVD! 🙂
