Just a quick note to let you know the new David Wenham (Faramir) film “Better Than Sex” is released today in Australia. From what I’ve read and heard, it’s supposedly a pretty good film.

Plus, there was an interview with David in the TV section of today’s Daily Telegraph in Sydney – his involvement in LOTR was mentioned, but the journo called it “The Hobbit.”

Following a story we broke on November 6th, The NZ Evening Post spoke with some folks at the NZSO regarding the score for LOTR.

When elves and hobbits battle evil orcs on the big screen in December next year the sound of rousing trumpets and violins on the soundtrack may well have been made by New Zealand Symphony Orchestra musicians. [More]

November 8, 2000… The day that Tolkien fans around the world have been waiting for has finally arrived: feast your eyes on the teaser posters for the Lord of the Rings movies! The posters were sent to us by a trusted source who requests anonymity, but the image itself comes directly from within New Line Cinema and has been used in promotional material. All three posters incorporate a different primary color and Middle-earth symbol.
