D&D Vs. LOTR?
Dungeons and Dragons director Corey Solomon has read and heard all those rumblings that his film is only hoping to catch the wave of enthusiasm fans are generating for New Lines currently in production Lord of the Rings trilogy. While talking to the the Dungeons and Dragons Movie fan website, the director dismisses such talk, saying, “I have read a bunch of the rumors about D&D trying to ride on the coat tails of LOTR. To clarify this issue, that is not the case. We have been working on D&D since 1991. It just took a long time to do for various reasons, the main one being that Hollywood is not favorable about the fantasy genre. Our whole concept with D&D was to bring a new face to fantasy through the film. Definitely, it is not like any fantasy movie we have seen before.”

Well to make a long story short, I made a change to the server which improves the rest of the site, but caused some problems with the message boards.
I have put a fix in place, but you may have to hold down the shift key and hit the reload/refresh button to see the fix. The problem will clear up on it’s own tomorrow morning.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Happy Holidays.

This just in.
Phone lines became extra busy yesterday as film extras where warned (namely Rohan and Orcs) that they will be needed for the filming of Helms Deep during the months of January to March.
Such a long period of time gives indication of something to look forward to in terms of battle scenes, apart from the fact that they will be filming only at night.
Fittings will take place obviously prior to the start of filming, and a specific time and place has already been alloted for this.
Guesses are that filming will start with just the extras first, and then the main actors joining in after their holiday break (between Christmas and the 2nd week of January – delayed due to the flooding of the sets in the Queenstown area). Other speculation is that the extras will have a few days in which to “train” in the arts of warfare, before full filming gets underway.
