Even though other Ringers didn’t get nominated - the miniseries starring both David and Hugo Weaving (Elrond) “After the Deluge” conjured 8 nominations.


Orlando Bloom (Legolas) got a nomination in the Macquarie AFI Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in Ned Kelly.


While Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers picked up a AFI Award nomination in the category “Best Foreign Film”. It will be going against Bowling for Columbine, The Hours and Whale Rider.
