The October issue of UK’s “Total Film” magazine includes 2 large double sided posters for LotR and Planet of the Apes. The LotR poster has the four hobbits with swords drawn at Weathertop, and Arwen at the Ford. FOTR gets top billing, 2 pages and lots of photos in their movie preview feature article.

The Oct/Nov issue of Barnes & Noble’s Sci-Fi/Fantasy newsletter “Explorations” has 5 pages devoted to LotR, including a nice interview w/ PJ, pictures of the new books and a contest. The new movie tie-in books are prominently displayed at my local store, including a Gandalf Standee/Book rack.

Scans coming soon!

You can catch Brad Dourif (Wormtongue) in a few places these days. First you may have seen him in the new western/drama ‘Ponderosa’, Dorif plays ‘Frenchy’ in this story of the Cartwright family in 1849 Nevada.

You may have seen him in the horror fest tribute video ‘Boogeymen’, this video shows all the best gore scenes from the top rated horror films (if there is such a thing). You can see Dourif do his ‘Chucky’ thing to, pardon the expression, death.

Yes…even with my evil cold I manage to gather all this info for you folks (sob mode cancel). Check out this weeks list of small screen goodies from the LOTR stars! [More]

Just to let you know that this months issue of the Swedish magazine “Okej” features a two page special on FOTR. There are ten nice, glossy pictures and quite alot of non-informative text. Nothing new, except for a new set of mistakes (honestly, haven’t ANY journalist in Europe actually READ the books?!).
