AFP – Plans to hold the world premiere in December of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, the last part of the trilogy, were in trouble as the Wellington City Council quibbled over whether to underwrite the renovation of a cinema. Wellington has claimed the film as its own as most of it was made there and director Peter Jackson lives in the New Zealand capital. [More]
