Vassel was lucky enough to visit the remains of what was once the Hobbiton set in New Zealand. Most of the props and plants are gone and the paint is beginning to chip away these days. Yet the natural beauty of the location leaves us with no questions as to why PJ and his team picked that location in the first place. We all do really love the Shire.
