Estelian writes: I just heard an interview on the radio and found out that a well known children’s video company called Big Idea, which makes videos called Veggietales, is coming out with a Lord of the Rings parody around Christmas 2005. It will be called Lord of the Beans, starring Earacorn, Legolamb, Randalf, and Toto.

Celebriel writes: Saturday began with a DragonCon favorite, the annual parade from Woodruff Park back to the hotels. Ringers were very well represented, with a large and well organized contingent. Star Wars Storm Troopers led off the parade, a DragonCon tradition, and other popular contingents included Pirates of the Carribbean, Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Anne McCaffrey’s Pern.
