Gloria writes: Join Into The West, Lord of the Rings Fellowship of Utah for Tolkien Festival 2007 at the University of Utah Union Building this Saturday, April 28th from 10 to midnight. Pre-registration for this event begins at 8 am the day of event. Noted internationally known professor Dr. Paul Nolan Hyde, keynote speaker, will speak on “The Tapestry of Middle-earth.” Dr. Michael Collings will discuss “Names and Naming, the origins of Tolkien’s Works,” and Dr. Stephen Fullmer will present “Women in Middle-earth.” Other classes include Elven language, Dance of Middle-earth, Astronomy of Middle-earth, Tengwar, Live Action Roll Play, Costuming, and Prosthetics as well as a Vendor room, Silent Auction table with items such as a Lord of the Rings Symphony signed copy sheet by Howard Shore, Sideshow Weta Statues, Live Theatre Tickets, Dinner certificates, Spa Treatments, Ballet West signature items and much more.
