After four years of arguments among fans of The Lord of the Rings, the mystery of a photograph dubbed “wizard kebab” has been solved. During filming of Peter Jackson’s trilogy in August, 2000, Dominion Post photographer Rob Kitchin, then working for the Evening Post, snapped a photograph during filming in a vacant lot in Peterkin St, Taita.
