The London stage production of The Lord Of The Rings is planned to open a year after the world premiere in Toronto, says the show’s producer. The new stage adaptation of Tolkien’s books will open at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada, on 23 March 2006, with previews from February. Preparations for a London version of the production will commence near the end of 2006, according to Kevin Wallace, the show’s British producer.
