North London’s Hampstead Theatre has announced an autumn/winter season that kicks off with the world premiere stage adaptation of the award-winning novel “Everything Is Illuminated,” by American author Jonathan Safran Foer. Everything Is Illuminated will officially open Sept. 19 following previews that begin Sept. 14. Adapted by playwright Simon Block, Foer’s debut novel follows a young Jewish New Yorker who travels to the Ukraine to find and thank the woman who saved his grandfather during the Second World War.
