Phones are running hot at Ticketek with people wanting to book for Howard Shore’s concert in Wellington. However there’s been a hold-up with finalising some details of the concert, and so the concert is not yet in Ticketek’s computer system. Which is why the ticketing staff are going crazy wondering why they’re getting hundreds of calls for something they’ve never heard of. It’s a long holiday weekend in NZ so none of the senior staff are around to enlighten them.

I’ve called the people organising the concert and they assure us that they are organising the final details concerning the concert this week. Stay tuned: They’ll let me know when Ticket’s able to take bookings. Probably later this week.

Ms Proudfoot writes: This weekend (October 24th-26th), a Sci-fi and toy convention was held in Stockholm, and naturally, as the devoted Ringer I am, I was planning to attend, even though it meant travelling across the country. The convention itself was held at the fair and congress hall in Sollentuna, Stockholm, but later that evening a special showing of TTT, with Andy Serkis holding a Q&A session before the film started, was going to be arranged at a smaller theater just outside the town.
