The people over at Barrowdowns have come up with an idea to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of ROTK, on October 20, 2005. Simon writes: I have just got off the phone with the head of sales at Auckland’s Queen Street Cinemas in New Zealand and they have confirmed that they will be showing the extended editions of FOTR, TT then the first screenings of ROTK. However, they have yet to schedule times or dates for these screenings. Will update when I hear more.
