Lord Jubjub crunches some numbers for us: Speaking only for the US Box Office. Spiderman hit $300M on its 22nd day. If three day projections hold, ROTK will hit $290M+ on Sunday (Day 19). Expecting at least $5M a day for Monday and Tuesday should mean that ROTK will set a record for fastest to $300M. I didn’t think $400M was really possible, but it looks like it has a chance of beating Spiderman and becoming the highest grossing movie in the 21st century.
