From the Geek Gods at WETA: Thanks to everyone who visited the WETA stand at Comic Con. Attached are are few highlights from the Weta crew.
The Rayguns statue gathered alot of attention, and creator of Dr Grordbort’s world, Greg Broadmore, was on hand to answer media and fan enquiries. The show exclusive, the Miniature ManMelter, completely sold out, and a little birdy tells me they are going for three times the original price on Ebay!

Flagship Studios is offering fans of the highly anticipated PC game, Hellgate: London, the chance to participate in the closed beta test of the game! The latest edition to The Lord of the Rings Premium Format Line-up is Gandalf the White, and the exclusive edition of that piece is now available for pre-order over at SideshowCollectibles.com. The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Gandalf the White Premium Format figure includes interchangeable hands, so that you may choose whether Glamdring is securely in Gandalf’s scabbard, or at the ready in his hand. Don’t miss your chance to own the exclusive editions of Sideshow Collectible’s Sam and Frodo 12-inch Figures (they are actually around 9″). Among the hoopla that defines Comic-Con 2007, Sideshow Collectibles announced three new LOTR Collectibles: The Sam and Frodo 12-inch figures and the Gandalf the White Premium Format Figure. The Sam and Frodo figures feature the newly developed ‘hobbit’ body allowing them to be displayed in scale with the other 12-inch figures. And of all the LOTR Collectibles we have seen to date, the portraits of Sean Astin and Elijah Wood are dead on!
