Michael Martinez writes: I’m not sure how many of you are fans of the LEGEND OF THE SEEKER television show but I was recently given the opportunity to interview Craig Horner, star of the show, for Xenite.Org. The interview is now available online.
With ninth months of intensive shooting for Legend of the Seeker Craig doesn’t get much time to do other projects. Still, considering that he is in New Zealand, I could not help but ask: Any chance you might have a role in ‘The Hobbit’? Continue reading “Craig Horner Talks ‘Hobbit’”

Glorfindel writes: We went to Hobbiton yesterday to check out what was going on but nothing much seems to have changed. Everything’s being irrigated therefore the hedgerows are a bit bushier and the apple trees are fruiting (although the pears aren’t doing so well). Gandalf’s cutting has been restored.

Kiwi-born Sharon Ali wants to show her Canadian-born family as many Kiwi sights as possible – including Matamata’s Hobbiton movie set and farm tour. “We arrived in New Zealand two years ago and I am determined for my family to see as much of the country as possible.
“The trip to the Hobbiton set was perfect for showing off rural New Zealand. “I went to school at Hamilton Girls’, so I have lived in the Waikato, but I have to confess we got a bit lost travelling to Matamata – we haven’t travelled much around those parts, but we got to the township and the information office gave directions back to the Andersons’ farm.
