Today is the big day!
Sometimes after 10am Pacific time, Peter Jackson will stroll onto the Hall H stage at San Diego Comic-Con to provide some 6,000 people a “first look” at The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. TheOneRing.net’s staff will be on hand to report all the details, and we’ll be bringing you a summary of what’s said and shown in Hall H as quickly as we can.
Will the folks in Hall H see the teaser trailer? Will there be a production blog? Who will be in attendance? Right now, we don’t have the answers, but we will find out shortly.
Update:
We hear that Andy Serkis visited the Hall H line at around 3am this morning. Lee Pace has also been making the rounds. So that’s two likely guests on the panel, plus Evangeline Lilly and Richard Armitage.
If you’d like to join us, share the anticipation and pore over all the details as they trickle out of Hall H, you can visit either our:

Many people are asking us whether the teaser trailer will debut on the internet today. It seems unlikely right now — but Warner Bros. is still being very quiet about their marketing plans. If the situation changes, we will let you know!
Additionally, filming is generally not allowed in Hall H so we will not be livestreaming except for question and answer sessions. So it will be text reports only today, I’m afraid!
Are you at San Diego Comic-Con today?
If you’re at SDCC and you’re heading into Hall H today you can help us get the news out faster! E-mail us at spymaster@theonering.net and tell us what was said and what was shown. We’ll have our own staffers present too to report all the action, but as they say: many hands make light work!
