Total Film’s Hobbit & Fellowship: Lord Of The Rings Trailer Comparison

September 21, 2012 at 4:31 pm by Altaira  -

Our friends over at Total Film.com have pieced together a fascinating, side-by-side comparison of ten scenes from trailers from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and ten scenes from the two Hobbit trailers that we’ve seen thus far. The similarities they found, in both big and small ways, provides a very fun read. Someone (or several someone’s) there really have a great eagle eye (pun intended). 1. What a pointless comparison. Of course it’s going to be similar. It’s the same world and mostly in that trailer the same characters. If they want to pick on the similarities then I dare them to have a go at Tolkien because it was he in fact was one who set most of the start of the Hobbit and FOTR in the same places. Another thing, seeing as though FOTR was imo one of the best movies ever made, using it as a concept is a good idea and maybe some other movies should take note of this I know it’s just probably a bit of fun and nice to see but there are still some people out there who want everything to be different just for the sake of it and why half the movies have new ideas and are rubbish.
